I had a double shot, flat white in a regular takeaway cup. No sugar needed and quite palatable.
Barister / ???? or who ever ther were, was not busy and I watched him cleaning one unit, and the other one was sitting there with the Group Handels in the machine. He was also adjusting the grinder and when he dumped what was in the doser a couple of times, and ran a shot or two. I thought uummm..... Temperature aware, playing with the grind......worth a go. Have to say it was good, and better than 75% of all teh other stuff I had.
Interesting enough, one of the managers of a small cafe is going out with my son... and she loves my coffee made in the EM6910. She also stated that it was their policy never to adjust the grind (set up by the coffee supplier on install), and if the been hopper looks too oily, then empty the beans into a container, wipe it out and then put the beans back. They also top up before closing of a night.
Oh, so so lucky am I..... Knew there had to be a reason why my poor efforts appeared to be so good. Fresh beans and a reasonable grind.... It does it every time.... and covers my mistakes.
So maybe the guy at the casino knew what he was doing, or I got fresh beans and a fresh grind set up... What ever it was, it was 1:00am I had a tough day and I enjoyed it.

My son and daughter got their orders also mixed up, but not as bad as me. It was raining and we were tired, so gulped the sh1t down and got a tram out of their ASAP.
