  • HELP!!! Trying to plumb in my Vesuvius......

Attempting to plumb my Vesuvius coffee machine I have run into the following problems:
    • Valve on underside of machine is mounted too high, so that the adaptor fouls with the body before it is flush.
    • Adaptor supplied with Vesuvius does not have a gasket/seal for the face that mounts to the adaptor or for the braided plumbing line.
    • I need an adaptor to fit from the braided line to 1/4" plastic tubing (for my flojet). I read online that this was "John Guest Adapter 3/8″ NPTF Male Thread to 1/4″ Tube", however when I went to fit it today it was completely the wrong dimension thread. I am guessing 1/2" might be what I need but would be very grateful for confirmation.

Any advice from people who may have completed this project before would be fantastic, particularly concerned about the valve mounting.

    G'day mate...

Try contacting Chris of Talk Coffee or the good people at Coffee Parts.
I'm sure they will be able to help you out...
