  • Round and Round Coffee

An interesting story and heartening to hear that the enjoyment of specialty coffee is spreading beyond the cities to the rural areas. I can imagine the logistics of coffee and milk supplies could be a problem and the overheads would be quite high.

I was down in Goolwa a couple of weeks back (sort of Adelaide's 'Gold Coast', if you don't count Moonta ) and grabbed a coffee from some local markets - they had a lever machine setup in the tray of a 78-series Landcruiser, which was obviously used for regular trips to the outback going by the vehicle's cosmetic condition. They said they often went travelling in fairly remote places and were often very well received along the way!
