Yep, no frost allowed! I keep mine close to the house wall to prevent frosting...

Do an Australian Search - I think a QLD nursery sells them online...

A few years to go yet before I see beans from them.
Watch the wind too while they are little.

Re: Where do I get a coffee plant?

I bought 5 seedlings on line a few years ago when I was in Melbounre. They came from QLD. Because they were tallish seedlings they were doubled over when packed, consequently two didnt survive. Three remaining are goning strong. I have one at work which is smaller than the other two at home. Ive repotted them twice and they stay indoors. They sit on the floor against the back glass siding door and get filtered sunlight. Water a couple of times a week, if I remember. As a bi annual treat they get some nitrosol or fish fertiliser and I take them outside to hose off the dust. Theyre about two feet high and round with branches. The one at work has only just started to grow branches, its about a 1 foot tall stem with leaves and has two tiny arms at the top.
