  • Kopi Kecilsapi

    Just got the latest on this from a mate returning from Irian Jaya - looks like it could break the $/kilo record currently held by Kopi Luwak since the Kecilsapi is somewhat rarer than the Luwak.

    Ive got the full details on my blog.

    Kopi Thundergod will be even rarer when my two trees start bearing fruit.

      Do we take that to mean that you are going to ingest the coffee cherries as part of the processing?

          Re: Kopi Kecilsapi

          this is the direct translation
          kopi = coffee
          kecil = small
          sapi = cow

          so this might be very tricky

                    I knew someone would go there.

                    But as r063r pointed out, kopi merely translates to coffee.
                    So it was a name/rarity/price analogy I was making not a processing one.

                      True enough, but in the context of the discussion we might have hoped for the lurid details of your processing strategy!

                        They use every other part of a cow in their food product ... so why not the poo! :P
