    Hi All...

My wife made it in on Sunday as my Daughter was doing an exam just up the road... ( I was on Morton Island, but that is another story.. See up and coming Presso post).

I only just found out, as my wife and daughter were talking about this GREAT coffee place that had just opened at West End.. Needless to say as soon as I mentioned the name Veneziano... They both exclaimed that was the one...

I think my wife ended up making 3 trips and they both stated the layout and decor was great.. She even said it was rather busy at around midday... They also commented on teh very reasonable prices, to go along with a great product..

    Great work to all concerned..

PS. My daughter was happy with the frappe but reckons she makes a better one... I guess a she might just have to step up to the mark, when some one from Veneziano drops into the place she works at in Wooloowin.

I dropped in today at Midday ... Quite neat and larger than I expected.. So how are the TEETH ;D

As it became obvious that I and the other visitor were SNOBS, one of the staff offered to show us around... Many thanks as it added to our break and added a little something extra...

The other Snob has a sweet tooth: Thus it was great to see him drink a Latte coffee and not add sugar

For myself, I can only state that it was a little cooler than I expected (FW) and can only assume that the cup may not have been heated enough... As compared to the glass that the latte came in.

All in all a great place to visit, have a chat and a coffee. Who knows, maybe I will even buy some beans next time :

Take care and trust the man with the big pliers did not hurt you too much :-?

          Sorry for the late post
But here are a couple of pictures I took of the Opening Day

Shop busy and staff working happy but hard behind the Orange/Red La Marzocco  FB/80

In a room next to the shop proper. A picture of the new Syncro 3 Group Espresso Machine

          PS
While at Veneziano Bris, I viewed an area set aside in the corner with a sign
          "Roast your own beans here"
Later speaking with Peter he informed me that yes he is installing a German make coffee roaster soon. So coffee lovers can roast green beans for home use and sample a coffee or 2 while waiting

Peter can post more info on this when he has a bit more time

            Heyya!

Dropped by the other day, wow it is nice there! The staff are soooo friendly and the coffee is great too Ill have to find a better way of getting there other than walking from uni, that was a major hike.... By the way! The beans were fantastic (Estate). I had every intention of letting them rest for a few days, but I couldnt resist! The pours were fantastic! Such rich red earthy colours... Two words, yum yum! Ill be sure to come back as soon as I run out of beans

            Trev

P.s My attempt at latte art, not the best but sure tasted great!

I visited Veneziano yesterday and found the staff to be fantastic - very helpful and welcoming. The only negative was that it was quite hard to find a carpark, as its a very busy area in the middle of the day with so many other businesss nearby. Ill be going back for sure.

Thank you every one for your kind words. We are trying very hard to create a place where baristas, roasters and enthusiasts can meet, exchange ideas and just simply hangout. We will be starting our summer cupping series, which runs every Wednesday and Saturday and is free of charge. Keep you eyes posted on CS for the commencement date and coffees that we will be showcasing.
