Re: dbl latte, a dose of catlick, hold the sugar t
LOL, sounds hectic Remy,
Our place is much the same (though, too many animals are never enough around here), except the cats stay inside but our dogs have free reign inside and outside. In fact, one of our cats loves to go for walks around the backyard with a harness and lead attached. Just has to investigate everything :
. Our other cat, a little female Abby/Burmese cross actually hates to go outside.
If you get the harness and lead out for the other cat and she spots you, she heads for the hills. As far away from us as she can, behind what ever is closest to her, the couch or wardrobe, etc. This is after we tried one day to give her a go with the harness and lead. Fitting it on her for the first time was OK as she didnt know what was planned, but once we took her outside. Well, it was panic stations
...... She wanted absolutely nothing to do with anything beyond the door frame and it was all fur, fang and claw until we had her back safely ensconced on the "right" side of the door. Talk about funny.
Animals are great, no doubt about it..... ;D

Re: dbl latte, a dose of catlick, hold the sugar t
Viviane: This cat is a birman, lovely cat but grrrr annoying that she gets on the kitchen bench,.. I hhhhhate that. We have another,.. a ragdoll and he is too heavy(theyre not built for jumping anyway) to get up on the bench,.. he tries to jump up on things and falls back down,... a lot, lol.
We have birds in the backyard everyday(we back onto a reserve),.. native parrots, a family of five owls and magpies all year round bringing their babies into the yard feed their young and get fresh water,.. and both cats just sit amongst it all and watch, or fall asleep with birds walking around them. The dog (spoodle) does the same. My youngest daughter even has three guinea pigs and lets them wander freely around the backyard,....the cats and dog couldnt care less,.. in fact the guinea pigs scare the cats and dog because they go towards them in a pack, lol to snuggle in their fur. These cats were brought up with a budgie and sleep on the budgie cage where they let the budgie pull their fur out. The cats look annoyed with the budgie when he does this and move around a bit to stop the pain,.. then leave when the budgie wont stop annoying them.
Its a madhouse of animals here,.. which is great for the kids(while at this age),.. but not for me who mostly has to feed, care for and clean up after them. I have told them,..as the animals die off,.. they will not be replaced, lol. I look forward to not having cats on the kitchen bench,.. no more cat fur in the house,. and no more taking care of animals at all anymore. It will be bliss.

Ken:
dogs on the kitchen bench?! I thought I had it bad with the darn cat gettin up there grrrrr.
Stan: talking about the hair of the cat...... the signs were all there *gives self an upper cut*,.. the odd tuft of cat hair stuck on the end of the steam wand,..presumably left there as she passed the coffee machine on her way to the pf water bowl :
*coughs up a hairball*
Mal:thanks Mal... I resemble the smilie on the right,..no the one on the left...no the one on the right....no the one.... :-/
scoota gal: LOL.. but it would be too depressing having an avatar of my dead cat. :
Den: You may very well larf,... but I think that vague flavour I was talking to you about this morning which was on the tip of my tongue but couldnt quite figure out.... was probably seafood after all,..yeah I reckon it was Whiskas Tuna & Mackeral. Either that or cheese!! ;D
GrindOnDemand: Oh eeeuw... theres not much room between the PF bowl and my coffee machine behind her in the pic.... maybe thats how tufts of cat hair get left on the steam wand *thud*
Greenman:LOL.......I think... Im not sure whether to larf or not..I cannot help but think I have been savouring a little cat spittle with my shots over the past few months. phfrrrt!
Martial Monkey: But Ive seen her clean every square...erm round inch of herself with that same tongue licking my PF... urgh *shudder*
GrindOnDemand:Id like to tamp a whisker harder as long as it was still attached to said cats PF lickin head!!!er, next shot with that pf Remy ... maybe tamp a whisker harder

Re: dbl latte, a dose of catlick, hold the sugar t
Remy, the cat isnt drinking the water so much as showing that he loves you. Its a misconception that cats dont care about their owners, they just have some wierd ways of showing it. Your cat is quite clearly trying to get closer to that thing it sees you holding several times a day. Much like the cat who jumps into your seat as soon as you get up. Id come and have a coffee there, I like cat people.
Lovely looking feline too.
