  • Coffee in Europe?

Can you help us out? We are travelling to Amsterdam and Milan. Any suggestions on cafes or roasteries that are a must would be appreciated. Thanks.

Cant help with Amsterdam - but pretty hard to get a bad coffee in Milan. I really liked Bar Brera - coffee and atmosphere very good

We were in Amsterdam at Christmas time and only found one cafe that even looked like they had a clue and that coffee was stale and thin and tasted burnt.
To be fair we had all four children with us including the little ones so we really couldnt venture too far. We visited many homes in Holland and the old filter was always on so it kept the coffee headaches at bay.

      Good Luck ! :-/

I think the coffee houses in Amsterdam are better known for products other than coffee
