Re: healthy espresso anyone?
Dandelion root, ground fresh & at the right grind ... kinda approximates a coffee experience (as a black).
Great liver tonic apparently ...
Tried it once via my grinder, then pf ... :P
Strictly plunger stuff (slightly metallic in aftertaste, but pleasantly drinkable nonetheless)
Learnt quick that only the real bean should meet my grinder, & then pf ...

YeeZa
I think you hit the nail on the head with that one "odd green tea" sure is, it looks more like it should be found in a small jar with a screw top lid
Give me normal tea any day, smokey earl grey, Darjeeling, english breakfast, irish breakfast and a whole myriad of others but green tea??

I also wouldnt mind trying it - I quite like Rooibos (or bush tea as Mma Ramotswe would call it - any No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency fans in our ranks?).
So long as it wouldnt put Mr. Giotto in jeopardy, Id be up for a shot.

Re: healthy espresso anyone?
A cafe down the rd from where i used to live used to make rooibos shots but when i went there and asked about it they had stopped doing it because (this is coming from memory and from the waitress not the barista) it broke the machine because of the expansion of the rooibos --> pressure. Dont know if thats correct though. I dont mind rooibos in tea form.

hmmm.... I wouldnt mind trying it. I knowwww.. thats going against everything we stand for here,lol.....but I actually love a good cup of tea,..(only after dinner for some weird reason). But I would hesitate getting any because hubby(tea drinker) might really love it and then Ill be stuck making every cup of tea for him too.

Re: healthy espresso anyone?
I thought it was bad enough to spend money on a coffee machine to drink coffee until I actually did it and now some person wants to debase - nay - defile a coffee machine that has been created for the production of a nector of the gods. Not on my machine (even though it is a cheap one.
