Robocup? Not much personality or cupside manner - yet, the opportunities for interaction, with contact tracing, data shaing and voice enabled are boundless. Customer complaining: "Oi Robocup, this Flat White is cold!" RoboBarista: "Espresso pullled at 93C Milk at 72,5C, 2 second separation, by the way you havnt cancelled the tickets with your friends to the game on Saturday its your aniversary, I will text your girlfirend and let her know, part of the service?" Customer: "Best coffee I've ever had", Robobarista: "Have a nice Life", Customer: "Have a nice day grrrr." What about our poor humanish Baristas though?

Noticed this article a couple of days ago.
Would probably go for one coffee for curiosity's sake but agree, might be a bit slow if one is desperate.

Love your title hook, by the way.

    Interesting article:

Interesting contact free concept. A bit slow to be very effective, but has lots of wow factor and will generate interest
ROI can at best be measured as marketing/advertising, but full marks for a novel concept.

Hope it generates the outcome they sought.
