Thanks, thats good to know. I didn't order through them but at least they mention they're out of stock on their site.Originally posted by Casa Espresso View Post
The Rocky importer, site sponsor Coffee a Roma, confirmed with me a few days ago that they have no stock.
Not sure who you have purchased from but the stock shortage is correct

McBeany I'd suggest something other than the Rocky... For $500 you can get a decent used Mazzer, Macap, or Compak. All better machines in my humble opinion.
I had a Rocky as my first "real" grinder (because of the price point) but it was not great.
Think: clumpy grounds, noisey, and doser model you have to hold the on/off button
Do some snooping on posts on this site around grinder reviews and comparisons etc
Cheers!

I had ordered a Rocky. I'm open to suggestions but my budget is $500. Might consider a 2nd hand one here too.

I'm in the market for a new grinder and just looking for recommendations on vendors that are trustworthy.
I've already ordered one but after 25 days of waiting it still hasn't shipped and the vendor keeps giving me the excuse that he's waiting for stock to arrive (but still has this item on his website with no mention of stock issues). I've just looked up reviews and and a lot of people are having the same problem. I've asked for a refund and will be looking for somewhere else to shop.
So what are some decent vendors i should be shopping with?
