I now live inconveniently far from good coffee roasters and cafes.
I had become frustrated with the performance of my trusty Gaggia Classic on the occasions where I wanted a milk based drink and bored and frustrated with my available bean supply.
I trawled through this site and a couple of others researching equipment, modern connectivity is wonderful for providing too much information.

I had a very reasonable budget but I haven’t upgraded for twenty years.
I lean towards the “buy once, cry once” principle and don’t see any more upgrades in my future (tempting as a lever is).
I am now drinking the best coffee that I have had, period!
I don’t frequent high end, third wave coffee shops searching for God shots but I have had coffee from all up the east coast of Australia in cafes and coffee shops for nearly forty years and I do not recall having a better coffee.
Is my set up the best? Probably not.
Am I still trying to dial everything in? Definitely.
Nonetheless I am very, very happy (and trying not to be too over-caffeinated).
I would like to thank the following folks who all went above and beyond in these difficult times to provide a service.
Site sponsors;
Jetblack Espresso for my new Lelit Bianca and associated toys.
Coffee Parts for my Kaffelogic Nano.
and
Bombora Supplies for a water system that should keep everything running smoothly.
Option O for my Lagom P64
The Coffee Snobs members who are so willing to share their knowledge and experience on all facets of coffee.
I have learnt and continue to learn so much from you mob.
Last and not least I’d like to thank Andy and co for providing this forum, sound and sage advice and one of if not the best selections of green and roasted beans in the world.
Thank you all.
