I'm looking at Google Maps and have America on my screen.

Can someone enlighten me please what coffee producing countries are classed as Central American versus Southern American

Is there a geographical / longitudinal cut-off point?

Ohh and apologies to my long suffering Geography teacher in school (cant remember her name) but pretty sure she would be turning in her grave now

    Cheers

Mexico is North America, Colombia is South America and the bit in the middle is Central America.

My understanding is that Central America is the area from Panama to Mexico eg

      Panama
      Costa Rica
      Honduras
      Guatemala
      Belize
      El Salvador
      Mexico

Think most of them produce coffee but not sure about Belize which used to be called British Honduras.

Wikipedia lists Central America as part of North America..Likewise, the Caribbean countries.

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o..._by_population

      Belize does produce coffee.

North America and South America are continents. Central America is a region that arguably has parts in both continents. (And Nicaragua seems to be the Tasmania of Central America, ie. forgotten).

Well Texas is South America and Michigan is North America so Kansas must be Central America.
