cue ACDC tune "...and you shook me all night long"
Somehow I heard Led Zeppelin when I read those lyrics. Greg
    Perfectly understandable:

....probably where ACDC got it from (although it was an old Muddy Waters tune IIRC)

Ahhh, she discovered the kick of coffee last night.  Bit of a "disturbed sleep"...

...and I discovered I may have created a monster.  I got kicked out of bed this morning by a crazy woman mumbling some demand about "make me coffee - NOW!"  ;D  I may need an antidote...

Keep up the crusade Wrecker. Last night I attended a family get-together, my in-laws are not great coffee drinkers but recently after prompting the bro-in-law bought a Sunbeam EM450 grinder so that they could try "freshly" brewed coffee. It has sat there unused for 3 months until last night. At his request I took 250g of a 50/50 blend of Nicaraguan HG Bold and Ethiopian Harar Blue Horse. I passed the bag around for everyone to smell the lovely caramel aroma of the beans before grinding and heard the oohs and ahs. I then ground the beans for a filter machine (I know!) but with the freshly ground beans and a good dose to boot it made a lovely smooth brew that everyone commented on.......I will have to keep working on them to get a better brewing vehicle but at least the education process has advanced a step in the right direction.
Congratulations on your 1000th post greenman! Not to mention moving your family in the right direction. I laughed at the "oohs and ahs", I still get that at work when I grind coffee. One of my wifes comments caught me by surprise when she said "its certainly better than instant coffee". I turned ready to go off and was greeted with her smiling face and twinkling eyes. DOH! :

Well done wrecker, almost another convert.

Koffee Kosmo - I can relate to your comments but the title my other half gave me was not as pleasant as yours I get "CB" which stands for "coffee bitch". I just take any praise in any form i can get. ;D

Much applause If there is rejoicing in heaven over one repentant sinner, what is there on earth over someone converting to Coff-olichism. Ouch, I almost hurt something coming up with that.
