No "glitch", per my previous reply, you added to the basket and after 20 minutes of inactivity it cleared the basket. You never "completed" or continued the checkout process by clicking on "checkout now".

...and yes, order and pay before roast day as you'll most likely miss the roast batch if you try and order on a Wednesday or a Sunday and BeanBay will show you the next roast day for your order.

    You won’t regret it.
Don’t wait until the roast day to order or something might sell out and you can change your order right up until you pay.
I’m in rural Vic and it usually takes 1-2 days for delivery.

Thanks amberale. It's good to know that it hasn't gone through. There must have been a glitch somewhere, I did as you described and completed the check out process, it emptied my cart without asking me to hand over my cash.

Anyway, i've missed today's roast - i'll give another go over the next few days.

As near as I can tell, on 24th (Saturday) at about 11am you added a kilo of coffee to your basket but didn't finish the checkout process so 20 minutes later the item "expires" from your basket.
I can't see any attempt on Monday though and you haven't placed an order for anything yet.

BeanBay is pretty straight forward and certainly more obvious after your first order.

After adding the size/quantity to your basket the buttons under say:

    Back to BeanBay
See other items in this category
    Finished shopping? Checkout now

Pretty straight forward. You'll be right and yes, you'll be emailed a copy of the invoice too when you get to that bit.

Oh, to actually place it in your basket you have to hit GO.

    Probably hasn’t gone through.
It’s sort of a double up order system.
First select your bean, then your amount, then put it in your basket, then proceed to checkout.
If you haven’t paid, you haven’t finished your order.
If you go back to beanbay your selection should still be in your basket and there is a history of what you have ordered.
Simples when you get used to it.

    Beanbay order

    Hi

    I'm a long term lurker.

On Monday placed an order for a 1k bag fresh roast to order bean to try, progressed to complete the order, but had no idea if it has gone through. A few things to note:
    1. i haven't received any email confirmation of my purchase order
2..I haven't paid for it, well i wasn't asked to.

    Is that normal?

    Thanks

Working...
