  • iPhone app for ratios and settings?

Hey guys. Newbie here. I am trying to log some standards regarding grind size, coffee weight, draw length and temp, and draw total weigh. So far I have locked in all of these in for my coffe brand ie I have settled on the espresso shot. Now would like to also get milk ratios (or additional water) based on weight for various drinks, eg cappuccino, latte, flat white etc.

is there an app that would allow me to log all this stuff and give me automatic ratios etc - perhaps it also has a timer?

I would find this useful to log my settings and also to give me quick idea on how to make various drinks based on my entered weights…

i know I could calculate all this manually, but was wondering whether there is a handy app out there?

ps: I have also ordered a Brewister smart scale (has not come yet). But if the app is compatible with the scale it would be awesome!

Do you have an espresso machine or are you expecting your phone to carry out the whole process?🤔

I have a Izzo Alex Duetto II. So it’s all manual. It’s more about tracking things on what I am doing.. not automating machine processes..

Good stuff, looks like Barry O'S has done a search, should help with your quest.

Surely there's a spreadsheet app available for the iPhone? However, it didn't take very long to google and find an app such as you describe called Espresso Log.

Thanks guys. I could see a bunch of apps in the App Store, but short of downloading and playing around with each, I would not know whether they would do the job, or whether one is better than the other. Given that I don’t have any experience with any I though to ask which app might be used, proffered by the established community members.

        Thank you for any suggestion.

I just use the Notes app to capture my brews

May have a look at the app to see if it's any better

I'm not sure about ios but I save this webpage to my home screen and just use that instead of launching an app. Ios should be able to make a shortcut or something similar.
