Do you mean general recognition or with cafes and in the hospitality industry? Are you hoping to use it as a qualification to help apply for barista work?

Yes, what would be the most recognised (nationally and internationally) qualification when one is applying for barista work?

William Angliss run most of these in Melbourne and Sydney (when covid safe!)

            https://shortcourses.angliss.edu.au/...spresso-making
            https://shortcourses.angliss.edu.au/...anced-espresso
            https://www.angliss.edu.au/shortcour...---accredited/

You'll get a good grounding in the fundamentals and it might open the door to a part time job to gain experience.
