  • Olympia Express Cremina Colours

    Hi all,

I do understand that there is an active Cremina community here

I live in Sydney and coffee parts no longer stocks the Cremina

I will need to buy one online

Im just having a lot of trouble picking the colour
    Issues with each colour:

    - Red - looks nice but dont think it will fit in the kitchen
    - White - I reckon it will get dirty and again wont fit in the kitchen
    - Dark grey - Fits nicely but looks a bit bland

I know this is a minor issue but it is a lot of money and before I take plunge, would like to know about other cremina owners/lovers feedback

Other online forums reckon red is the way to go though I (the mrs) dont like it and I (the mrs) will be really upset (going to throw it at my head) if the colour doesnt fit

I think it should be easy to vinyl wrap the casing on a Cremina.
Either that or take the casing to any local panel shop and get it two pack painted to the colour of your(wife’s) desire.

I have a white Cremina and don't find that it gets any more noticeably dirty than other machines I've had (maybe I'm a bit of a slob?). May not suit your kitchen though. I have a black bench with cream square tiles on the walls. Whichever way you go, most of the noticeable mess gets on the stainless steel plate immediately behind the group.

I'm not sure that Coffee Parts 'no longer stock' the Cremina. They're still listed on the Coffee Parts website, with an 'out of stock' message.

White must not have sold too well. It's now "special order" at the factory with a longer lead time. I like the metallic fleck in the Black (Anthracite).

        Thanks for the feedback

        Are you happy with white?
do you have any regret in choosing another colour

Coffee Parts no longer stock it, I emailed them and got the response advising to order from somewhere else.
I also had to visit them last week to purchase another item and they advised they sold all their display models too

I bought it 2nd hand (about 3 years old) from a CS member at the start of 2020, so 'white it was'. I suspect that I would have chosen white if I had the choice, but the metallic fleck that Caffeinator refers to above looks pretty good.
