Local roasters may hold a barista course of some description. a small group training format can be very effective. Maybe not this one but something like it https://www.australianbaristaschool....NSW);Info;1657

    Coffee Training

    Hi all,

I've been making Espresso Coffee at home with my machine and grinder for many years and it's time to take things to a new level. I read many articles and viewed many videos on how to tweak your coffee extractions by changing temps, grinds, ratios, times etc. to bring out the very best for a particular coffee. Maybe I've done too much research and that's why I'm so confused now!

What I think I need is some one on one or training course from people who know their stuff that can help me though all the variables so I know what is right and wrong. I live on the Central Coast in NSW, so anywhere on The Coast, Newcastle or even Sydney would be OK.

    Are there any recommendations?

    TIA

    Greg
