    Monsooned Malabar would probably just edge Yemen Bani Ismail for me. Maybe its because I havent found a roast profile for the Ismaili that brought out the best of it and even then its pretty good. The Malabar is a pretty easy bean to roast, and my preference is to stop this one just at the first snap of SC.

        Late last year I was fortunate enough to nab some Ethiopian Gambella Naturals. Andy described them as poor mans yemen and while I generally agree, I think they have a fruitier flavour.

        These are a favourite at home.

        Sometimes I begrudgingly roast some for customers.
