    That is fantastic!

I've got to say that Barista looks like a young Ron Barassi (reference for AFL supporters).

Being Italian, I cut my teeth on the stove top Cafetiere/Perculator as most migrants could only dream of having their own Gaggia or E61 machine like they had in the old country.

Funnily enough, my eldery parents (born in Italy) still continue with their morning stovetop cup and save the "fancy" machines for a treat if they come over to my house. God love em!

I have photos from the other periods that I can upload, I just need to download them when I come back from Italy

Did you manage to navigate into the other exhibition rooms which show machines from different decades ? That is where I found it gets harder to navigate. There are some You Tube Tours if you want to hunt around

Beanz. This worked really well for me once I figured out that i needed to click on an arrow to navigate. Super interesting thanks.

If you like the original post take a virtual tour of Mumac I have set the link to get you started and you can then wander around MUMAC - Machine Museum Coffee - Google Maps Fingers crossed the link works, it is a bit clunky to navigate but with a bit a patience it works

Actually they all look smartly dressed. I guess that going to a cafe back in the day was a bigger deal than it is now. A bit of an occaision.

That's a pretty amazing piece of history. It's a bit of a shame not much of that era seems to have survived, outside of the odd place on Lygon.
