I hope you got the scales cheap enough. Did you test them before you bought them? Or was it posted and no visual inspection

It was from these guys, the Australian agent. Raise an RMA with them.

Yes the only way to fix it is to replace it. That's a Pearl, not a Lunar (important when ordering battery). A friend of mine just ordered one for his I'll check and let you know. I think it was from Acaia direct.

I go through the menu and I put the 1221, then go to the next menu and it just stays at 00 with some random number . See attached pics

yea id just grab 3 glasses of 500g and give it a shot, got nothing to lose

Though may be an issue fitting them all on the scale at the same time.

not sure if you visited Acaias website, but it tells you what the issue may be and what to try What to do when I see ERR303?

Error 303 (and sometimes error 802) is an indication your scale’s load beam has experienced a weight beyond the scale’s capacity of 500 grams (Pyxis or Cinco), 2000 g (Lunar, Pearl 2021, Original Pearl), or 3000 g (Pearl Model S). A physical shock such as a portafilter or tamper dropping on the scale, or damage from dropping the scale may cause this overload. It can take weighing an object over the scale's capacity just once to damage the load sensor.

You can return the scale to functioning condition by performing a linear calibration, with the caveat that the upper reaches of the weighing range (1500 g - 2000 g) might be inaccurate, depending on the damage experienced. To do this, you will need three 500 g F2-class calibration weights. You can find these in our online store here.

If you are unable to perform a linear calibration, or a linear calibration does not correct the issue, please contact support@acaia.co to have your scale serviced.

    Linear Calibration

A linear calibration is a more thorough method that makes sure your scale is calibrated in the lower, middle, and upper ranges of its weighing capacity. Three F2-class 500g weights are required to perform this calibration. This calibration may also help Error 303 with the caveat that the upper reaches of the weighing range (1500g - 2000g) might be inaccurate, depending on the damage experienced.
    1. With the scale powered off, press and hold the Power button.
    2. When "SEt" displays, continue to hold down the power button and press the T button. The scale will beep and show "F.0000". This is the scale’s password menu.
    3. Long presses of T button advance to the next digit, while short taps will change the value of the digits (1-9). Enter "1221" for the linear calibration setup.
    4. The scale will first calibrate a zero point. After this, you will be prompted to place 500g on the scale, then 1000g, then 1500g. Once the scale has calibrated 1500g, it will beep and read "End". Be sure to place the first weight in the middle of the weighing surface, and stack the other weights evenly. Also be sure to perform this calibration on a surface free from slight bumping or vibration.

Acaia Lunar won’t calibrate - HELP!

Bought a used Lunar, turned it on but getting a 303 error message. So I tried to recalibrate, but it’s not working. Not calibrating at all. I have a 100g Acaia weight. But no good.

Also, when I tare it, the reading keeps going up.

have I bought a complete dud?
