  • Coffee Trees

    Hello,

I was going to plant 12 coffee trees in my front yard, it gets full sun, till about 1400, or I could put them in the backyard where there is part shade, in amongst gum trees. I live in Northern NSW so full sun is pretty hot. Also I dont expect to supply my self with a massive amount of coffee, but does anyone have any suggestions on how much 12 trees would yeild and which variety, If I was to only get 500 grams of roasted coffee a year I would still be pretty satisfied. Or should I put 12 out the front and 12 out the back. Out the back would be over the evaperation pit on my sewrage system, they tell me the water is good for wartering gardens but is not fit for human consumption, (although i have brought coffee from some cafes that must use this water) any thoughts on weather this would affect the fruit on the trees?? thx in andvance.
