I ordered one at a chain store bakery in outer Melbourne last week.
I did it half out of curiosity and half for the reaction from my tea drinking, just got repatriated from NZ, brecky mate who had to order it.
    "A bloody WHAT?"
It was pretty good, a lot better than I was expecting.

    Magic coffee in Sydney

I’m talking about the Melbourne term for double ristretto + steamed milk in a smaller (5oz) cup. Basically a 3/4 FW with a ristretto double shot. I’m told there are a few places on the lower North Shore that will know what you mean if you order one: Against The Grind in Neutral Bay; and in North Sydney: Kingswood, State of Espresso and the cafe in the Channel 9 tower. Any others?
