Not intending to contradict your reply KK (which is also true)
I prefer to remember them as the rule of 3’s
3 YEARS for green beans.
3 WEEKS for roasted.
3 MINUTES for ground.
Of course, change the above to suit your own good or bad storage habits, environmental and climatic conditions.

Green beans will last up to 2 years
Freshness of Roasted Beans will last up to 1 month
Fresh ground coffee will last about 3 minutes

Questions on green beans
Hey all. First post question, as Im thinking about picking up some green beans here and home roasting in a popper. How long do green beans last, and how do you normally store them? Had a look through the forums but havent found much for newbies to the greens, so any useful info would be much appreciated.
