Greg, try Jason at Pioneer ... he stockpiled some Cuban Turquino for the roast-off several months ago, & may have some greenies left

    Tony
We bought a bag as a 1 off special but as happens to so many of these coffees it has been added to our regular collection because we love it that much. Its not up on our website yet but an email or call can get you everywhere.

    Re: Cuban

Lets hope with the last weeks weather in Cuba that we do not see an interupted supply, and of course that everyone there is okay.

    Re: Cuban

Maybe Greenbay can send you some if they can get them renamed as Tasmanian Coffee Beans???
I know of someone who sent a pile of beans to the US labled "Aussie 1, Aussie 2, Aussie 3 etc" to save on paperwork so yes, that could work.  I guess once they have been cleared by customs here they are then Australian beans?!?! Maybe not strictly correct but certainly better than Randys leaded kids toys.
    8-)

I liked the Cuban Altura that CS had in August 2007.
Wow.... was that 12 months already Mike!

How time flys when there are so many great coffees.  That Cuban was straight off the boat (we had to wait for AQIS clearance) so the next crop should be due now-ish but I have not seen any Cuban samples yet or heard any stories about them not coming.

Does USA still boycott Cuban coffee?
Yup. I cant legally smoke a Cuban cigar unless I go to Canada, but I am free to use poisoned Chinese toothpaste, crash my car when faulty Chinese tires explode, allow my kids to play with Chinese lead-tainted toys, and kill my dogs with poisonous Chinese dog food additives.

    started a topic Cuban

    Cuban

Would be interested in some Cuban beans, if there are any available these days.

Does USA still boycott Cuban coffee? If so, all the more for the rest of the world .

I suppose Cuban growers have been doing it tough in recent years with hurricanes.

    Would love to get some.

Working...
