find great coffee in Toowoomba

Having a short break in Toowoomba next week. Does anyone know where is the best place to get a coffee to rave about?
Dont want to waste time and money being disappointed. Appreciate any advice. Thanks

Hmmm,

The few Ive tried over the years have been pretty disappointing "island girl" but there are a couple of new places to be found along the main drag in the city centre that might be worth trying. In the main shopping centres and plazas there are all the usual suspects to be found, producing the usual quality of espresso that these establishments are well known for.

You might have to sacrifice a few taste buds in the name of the greater good for CoffeeSnobs, and then report back what you discover :P

Angel Cafe roast their own...and theyre not too bad...after all...they do have TWO Synessos on their bench...Youll have to go up to the suburbs to find them. Theyre not on the main drag.

Sadly, the one other place that was roasting their own has gone wholly wholesales only and dont sell the the public...last time I went through.

Toowoomba isnt that bad for coffee...there seems to be a few having a good go at producing drinkable stuff.

The cafe in the old post office is worth a visit too. It wasnt too bad last time we went there, which admittedly was a few years ago.

Angel Cafe would have to be consistently the best, I think.
