The sunbeam "single" is actually a double that holds about 14g (two tbsp) of coffee without overdosing --> ie. 14g will give you a nice clean solid puck and even extraction.
I find the sunbeam "single" quite ideal for extracting about 50-60ml into a large 250ml cup. With stronger beans (higher acidity) it is even possible to break it up into two 170ml cups for two cappuccinos (with a bit more foam than usual so the milk to coffee ratio is about the same)
The sunbeam "double" ~20g triple basket is too much for me... but makes two 220ml cup lattes pretty well. Id extract no less than 60ml from the sunbeam double basket - extracting less than that seems to reduce the sourness/bitterness somewhat and it doesnt cut through milk as well.
