Ive noticed lately that if I ask for a double flat white at a cafe the barista quite often says in reply " so you want a strong coffee." I usually reply "yes, a double thanks." Again the barista replies "Yes, a strong coffee."

My greatest fear is that strong in some establishments means, just let the pour run longer.
