Pity its not like that every shot  ;D
Well, now you know that Silvia IS up to the job 8-).... Everything will "come together" more and more often as time goes on. You know that saying about "making haste slowly"; really applies to espresso coffee

    Mal.
All I gotta do when everything does finally come together, is to make sure it stays together.

Jeez Im lookin forward to tomorrows efforts

What a great way to start the day, i have to settle for coffee from an auto machine at work, i cant really get away with firing up the Giotto at 5:30 when the rest of the family is asleep

Hope tomorrows is just as good!

started a topic Interesting observation smornin

    Interesting observation smornin

I usually switch Silvia on when I get up and go about makin my breaky and the other usual first thing in the morning activities which generally give Silvia 10 - 15 mins to warm up...which is only just barely long enough. Half an hour is better but I dont have that kinda patience first thing in the mornin

This morning was barely a 10 minute warm up and I decided it was one of those rare occasions I felt like a double espresso instead of my usual latte.

Grind, dose, distribute, tap, tamp, quick flush and lock in the PF

The end result was one of the best espressos Ive had since the one Chris from Talk Coffee made me. I was stunned!

Anyway I spose it just shows to go ya that even without a long warm up Silvia can still serve up a good shot.
One of those extremely rare occasions, well for me at least, where it all comes together.

Pity its not like that every shot  ;D

    Just sayin
Working...
