The real question is...how did it taste?
Do you want to produce a nice curve with bad tasting coffee?
If (for YOUR roasting setup) you have found a 16.5 minute roast is about right for these then you might want to move 1st crack to 11 minutes by ramping a little slower. You also might like to try keeping the 1st to 2nd crack a little more positive... 2 or 3 degrees per minute in the roast monitor software seems to be pretty good for my setup.
Remember: There is no right or wrong, just different. If your results taste great for your palate and work for your roasting equipment then keep the same profile!
Hi all, back to roasting this week. I roasted 300g of Brazil Bourbon Bold this morning. FC started @ 10:25 and SC came 6 mins after. Stopped roasting when i heard the first snip of SC.
