Good to see you getting into the wondeful world of home roasting petar!
It is advisable to roast single origins when starting out so that you can experience the different characteristics of the many amazing beans Andy has available on beanbay.
A good way to try a blend is roast all of the beans separately and then blend them together at different ratios to compare tastes etc.
    Enjoy your roasting

    newbie: bean combo suggestions?

Hi snobs, I had my first roast on the weekend (using cs starter pack) - I must say I really enjoyed the experience..

Anyhow, Ive just had my first taste of the produce this morning and Im quite impressed..

    My blend was:
    1 x Malawi
    2 x Ethiopian gambella sundried
    1 x Guatemala huehuetenago

It produced a really drinkable coffee, hardly any bitterness - tho I think it lacked a bit of flavour punch..

any suggestions for my future roasts in terms of what to mix in the blend and how much?

Working...
