    GM - I was on the edge of my seat waiting for your story to go pear-shaped... Heat gun explodes! Almonds burst into flame! Something like that.

    I like freshly roasted peanuts
    Normally roasted in winter

    Better, fresher taste than normal

    Corretto goes nuts

    Ive been pondering for a while whether to try roasting some almonds in my Corretto so tonight I bit the bullet and gave it a go.
    Set the heat gun on fan speed 2 and gun on around 450C and away I went, after four minutes it starting smelling pretty good and the almonds had a lovely reddy/tan colour, pulled the roast at 6mins and cooled in my bean cooler. My wife provided the taste test and gave them the seal of approval. : :
