I just finished a tin of illy coffee (woot..in a few days) and im about to roast a fresh batch of beans.
I got the tin because
1) it looks great
2) an empty jar costs half as much and doesnt look so good and doesnt come with coffee in it.
3) i heard Illy uses some fancy nitro tech to keep beans sorta fresh.
Now im wondering whats this mysterious hole at the bottom of the canister. Its small...not unlike the one on pressurized baskets. It looks like its taped over with a plastic thingy, and there is a bit of clear (mineral?) oil in it and a small bubble floating around.
Any ideas what this could be?
