Some of you guys out there already into home roasting for sometime, with the beans I buy from shops the bag occasionally labelled recommend for Espresso, milk base, or Fresh Press, I wonder would a roaster be able to tell before hand that his roasted bean is good for drinking it as Espresso or others, of cause I think cupping is the sure way.
Or can a roaster alter the roasting profile such that the beans can go either way?
