Been roasting for a while with the KKTO - decided to roast some columbian and zambian grinds (separate). I follow my normal process as I always do and pull just on second crack.
I rest them about 5-7 days - nice sealed bag with valve. Anyways griding on my mazzer then into the BZ35, very fast pour. Hmm pulled then knocked up my girnder couple of more steps - same thing. Grinder is 7 clicks to fine on my mazzer thats huge - and the pour is still not right - same for both coffees. Strange as I thought with humidity it would be coarse....
So either something got stuffed up in the roast (I cant think same thing I have done for months - but you never know). Beans are bad ? and noooooo not my BZ.
Will do a small roast with anohter coffee see how that goes....just thought it was odd out of all the roasts I have done maybe you get the odd bad one and this is it ?
