Hi guys and girls!
I have recently become a big coffee fan, and so decided to have a go at roasting in my little popcorn maker

Its a Sunbeam and probably cost $20. But I wanted to see what coffee I could produce for zero investment.
I was also lent a small (100g) popper roaster by my local cafe, and was keen to see how it went too!

This is my cooling apparatus

For 100g of coffee it seemed to work well, shaking and swirling the beans in the pot in front of the fan would cool them in about 1 min.
And these were my beans! They are samples of about 200g each
Colombian Organic
Indian Catimore
Time to get started!
