Hey KK running between 2-300 plus now.  Roasts are always at least 600g and a number of 1kg roasts - although must say prefer 800g as good safe bet.  Still going strong love it..... ;D
Congrats on your own personal milestone [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Weather one builds one from scratch, using the plans or gets a kit. Its still the most bang for ones dollar

With electricity prices going through the roof it makes sense that 1X 800gr roast will save you money and time

I try to keep the clips/contacts on TO tops heating element clean and tight. It can make a significant difference. I had to replace the spades on the wires on my GG top around 500+ roasts. Its still going strong with well over 1000 roasts since 06

Hey how about that Ed (farmroast) - 1000 + roasts
I can just imagine how much coffee is running through our veins

A testament to a great design idea

    Hi All
Thought i would share that my KKTO has just hit its 305th roast birthday.
Still going strong with great consistency.

The only difference from day 1 is the fact that the turbo oven does not produce as much heat as it once did so i now run the pre heat of the beans at a high temperature and the roast time is a couple of minutes longer than it used to be.

    A great roaster.

Thanks for the testimonial you wrote on the website Mal
    Much appreciated

on average 0.625g per roast as roasts vary from 600 to 650g
so on that basis about 190KG

    not bad.
I will be buying another KKTO soon so i have a backup

    Mal

It would be good to know how many roasts others have completed on there KKTOs or variants

I am well over 500 roasts

    Congratulations Mal
Glad you are happy with the design and the roaster
Just curious on your average weight of green beans per roast?
This is so I/we can work out how many kilos you have roasted so far
