Well yes that bit I did entirely in the interests of scientific investigation
as
it was the first time Id tried (and the process is supposed to be pyrolitic, right
)
I was however surprised by how quickly temps a) went past what is desirable for a roast and
b) approached the combustion point of the beans. Fireworks ahead ...
However I was curious to know whether suitable subtle adjustments of a covering
might be usable in making a "temp profile". I think not, as its all too fast and the
effects of the covering are difficult to quantify / predict.

.... adds a certain character to an otherwise bland and ordinary looking kitchen appliance without the bling perspective taking over
