OK it was sort of a joke.  But you could probably get some big quantities through and it would be fairly easy to dump.

You could put a insert in to avoid contact with the sides.  Like a massive flame retardant stubbyholder...

Believe it or not I was thinking about miniaturising the cement mixer design for a few months
Primarily for the agitation and dump portion of the design
to roast up to 3 kg of green beans and incorporate gas heating

The mechanics of it should work but don’t know how much it will cost to build?

It will also make an awesome corretto (the miniature version)

Proper concrete mixers are hundreds of $ depending on age and condition.
There was a guy selling these little push-along ones for about $50 on ebay -- BUT they really are "push along" -- that how they get their rotation (as it were)

So I now have a vision of one these things with beans inside, plus a HG and associated accoutrements, with a *really long* power cord, pushing it on a little race track round and round the house ;D
