    Wow

My brain hurts...must be a lay layman

That is a fantastic resource KK

    Chris

think I need a lie down
I went back in it to play around with the buttons adding beans to see how they travel on different roasters

So I have surmised that my Turbo Roaster is
Heat = Convection with slight fan forced air
Roast chamber = Is closest to Packed Bed (without the forced air and the turning bowl)

The Art & Science of Roasting by Heat or Method

This is a must see for all CS members that are into Roasting

Educational in its content with video animations
(accessible from tabs on bottom of page)

    Learn all about
    1) Different heat methods eg Convective, conductive ect

    2) Green Bean Properties

    3) Different roast chamber types (click roasters tab) eg solid drum, fluid bed ect

    http://www.whydontwehavethisguy.com/_WDWHTG/portfolio/Showcase/PBAT101.swf

This is a very comprehensive tutorial, but easily understandable by the lay person :-/

You will need shockwave to view it

    Tell me what you think
And if you have you come away with more understanding about how different coffee roasting methods work.

(Remember not all good finds are on the first page of a search )
