i think it may need modification as it is a Breville BB-200 "bakers oven"
You will need to mod it. I have a BB-200 and it pulsed for 12 mins - stops for 5 then continues for another 15 or so - or it did until I had the mod done.

Re: 1st heat gun, bowl & spoon home roast

So i pulled the BM apart and hardwired the motor, no switch yet just direct to the power cord. i have removed all the electronics near the motor etc and the heating element as well from the roast chamber.

works well and easy to do once you get it all apart

if anyone knows what the 2 temp probes are on the side of the "baking housing"  can you tell me please.
I was wondering if they are thermocouples and if my PID will read off them. Will try later
sorry did not take a pic

here is a little idea i had, quick mock up of some parts......
not sure if it would work? will need a new lid but !!
        but an interesting idea,

        BM & popcorn maker heater

will do real a build thread once finished

            its not plugged in............

the 2nd shot shows it all back together after the wiring mod

i didnt run the popper motor on there, that would be crazy. I had that motor pulled out of a popper as the shell of it stank of i dont know what

but yes AM, i agree there is cause for concern when playing with 240V

how was your law exam? that subject was one of a few i got a distinction in.... i did that subject at Griffith in the holland park area uni

in the second shot there are Brown and Blue wires exposed and switch terminals = Live or the wrong wires being used ???

Contractors Licence / Small business law etc 41 out of 45... I would argue that 2 of those I got wrong was because of the wording and interoperation..

IE. If the Principle Inspector signed off on teh work that was performed by another would the Electrical entity have grounds to suspend.

I said YES... They wanted NO.

The answer was that they can sign off on any thing.. The issue is that they would have to manage the risk and if deceit etc came into play... In addition the fact that they signed off is also not a criminal act

Thus they can sign any thing...

It was a little like the old trick question..

"supercalifractious-expialidocious" now spell it.. With the answer being "it".

Re: 1st heat gun, bowl & spoon home roast

i might be thinking about "contract law" ie business / accounting

not contractor law that you might be doing

anyway well done on your marks

and good spotting on the wires, thats just how i ripped it out of the popper case to throw on the "might keep that pile"

They will be over temp devices and probably of no current use.

Again we seem to be travelling parallel paths (see tonights post pre midnight)

                  Kind Regards

Likely to be thermistors, not t/couples or RTDs, etc...
