Id be starting both on 230°C and turning the temp down to 220° at first crack. This would probably give 12 min to first crack, another 5 or so to second. Id be cooling right on second crack for the New Guinea.
Id start with 250 gm beans unless they look really low chaff, then 300 gm.
I was given (by my wonderful husband) 2 1kg bags of green beans.
Now the small problem is, as he doesnt roast them, I do, he is unsure of what the instructions on how to roast them are.
1. New Guinea Ethica coffee.
2. Australian Carool Mountain Estate (Bronze medal winner 2008 Golden Bean NRC) - apparently I am the 3rd person outside of this estate to have these.... :-?
Some roasting profiles for the GC would be much appreciated thanks, especially for the New Guinea one. The Aussie I sort of have an idea.
