Heat sealer is working great! 39 bucks, not a bad deal. Comes with a spare element too.

    Ahh... now I understand.   :

PS.  the vibe pump left yesterday for its trip up North..
Received and being put through teh cleaning process..

What did you say was wrong with it ?

I observed a slight issue with the location of a spacer.. With this spacer not in teh correct position... No workey ;D :

Once cleaned and re assembled... Will advise as to Workey or not by PM... That way we are both clear 8-)

    BOT.

I lost two bags due to teh meet and great yesterday.. Forgot to check teh KNOB on teh heat setting and went . SEAL.. Opps... Did not know it was a cutter :

Damn good system and at new the seal line (when set correctly) is rather fine. I can see how that tight skin Wsully get 3 or ever 5 seals to a bag..

PS. Mr Wsully... No more balloons that bag of beans was a hoot.. But when I sucked it in and then spoke... It did not make my voice go all squeaky..

    I did a best buy  ;D

The thing is to put the two spare bits in a safe place that you can find later when ya need them  ;D

I love teh quality of teh seal and how quick it is...

Best $45 I spent in a long time..  And last longer than a cheep bottle of Scotch

Great bit of kit, I got mine about 18 months ago apart from coffee bags I have made around 1500 poly tube bags (3000 seals) at work and still going strong on the first element.

Considering buying a heavy duty foot operated one for work when I save my pocket money some more or stop using it on coffee stuff  .

Silly question, but why seal the bag?  I thought the idea of the one way valve was to let out the C02 but keep the air out...
Were not sealing the bag.... Just the top....

    **********   = Zip / press seal

    (* )    =  One way valve

The zip / press seal fails and does not always work or is sealed as expected.
