This is one of my favourite beans but find controling the roast after 1C requires careful monitoring. I like the corretto for this bean as I have far more control in the last few minutes.
I have run the attached profile a few times and I am very satisfied with the results in the cup, great espresso and short machiattos. I have run longer times following !C but find it gets away so quickly that I prefer to pull earlier rather than risk a darker roast

Did some today, corretto.
Seemed to get there a bit too quick. Result, a bit uneven.
Anything special that needs to be considered when doing these small beans?
Cheers.
How long did your roast take in the end? I use a corretto setup as well and Im still trying to figure out what is a good temperature ramp and roast time ..
All up about 16 minutes - C9/C10.
A bit hit and miss with these beans. Main problem seems to be lack of audible crack. Ive been dumping when smoke pours off top, colour appears about right and some faint hint of 2c.
Also, mine are tending to taste better after 7+ days rest.

Yemeni beans will always be uneven no matter how you roast them. They are a mix of ripe, underripe and overripe beans. Just dont worry about them being uneven, go ahead and do a taste test after 2-3 ds of rest. They usually taste wonderful. The unevenness just add a melanges effect.
