    Hi everybody,
I'm new to the roasting thing and am v excited about it all. But I have no idea what I'm doing! Got the Behmor from Andy - thankyou But how do I know what beans I might like? And what I would like to blend? I've already blown my first 'starter bag' with some silly mistakes (pays to weigh your beans correctly!).
Can anyone reccomend a good book (or thread here to follow?).
    Many thanks to any replies.

There is a book you can get from Amazon (& others places no doubt) called Home Coffee Roasting (Romance & Revival), ( Home Coffee Roasting: Romance and Revival: Kenneth Davids: 9780312141110: Books ) which is useful if you want something to reference, and looks like it has been updated recently. But there is also plenty on this and other forums which have some very practical advice. So a spot of internet searching will give you more info than you could cope with.
