G'Day addicted friends,
Having trouble roasting Rays Selection Mountain top Estate #789
I have great results using my Gene Cafe roaster with all other styles I purchase from CS BB.
Have tried long and low temps ( 205-225 for 15-27 minutes ), various combinations of high and med to long roasts ( 235 -245 for 14-25 mins )
Have even preheated the Gene to 160 C and done the same mix of temps and times.
I get great results on all other beans just need to master this one.
The flavour result is very bitter and not much flavour to an oily and over strong taste.
Any suggestions would be great as I want to support our local grower if I can get it right.
