    G'day Phrosti...

Yep, that's one of the great things about the Behmor, roasting at night is just as easy as roasting during the day; probably easier as a matter of fact. Luckily we've had a few cool-ish days up here so roasting with the Corretto has been pretty good. Last roast was a batch of Yemen Ismaili (Yum) shared with our eldest...

the last few weeks in Melbourne have made my roasting schedule 'interesting' to say the least

no aircon in the lower level of the house and being an older place it gets rather warm to say the least

would have done some of my latest every roasts as far as time of day is concerned, hows 10pm or 11pm on a work night...

roasts turned out great from the behmor as always though

having to plan for the days with a cool change is a pain though, had to go without coffee for a couple of days

    Nothing really...

Just more comfortable to roast in 25deg. than 40+deg....

What's wrong with roasting on a hot day?

-30C? Yes, well over here, we prefer our iced coffee during summer

Gonna try and beat the heatwave before it gets up our way this time, probably tomorrow...

Roasting in 40+C is no fun at all, even in an open shed. Can empathise with you guys...

Nope, still recovering, enjoying a gin and tonic right now, roasting tomorrow, perhaps, I'm OK for a few more days.

Believe it or not we had a cool change come through a bit over an hour ago, just checked the thermometer its dropped to 25°, very unusual, not complaining.

Sounds like there won't be too many lattes made then.

One advantage of living at (by Aus. standards) a little altitude is that the night time temperature ain't too bad here....even in heatwaves. I think we got down to 15 or so every night during the last one when the days were b/w 39-41.

I guess if I had to I would, not a business requirement so not necessary.

Spent the early morning watering and setting up shade so the tomato's don't cook on the vine.

As a matter of interest the temp in my un air conditioned shed about an hour ago was 51° bloody north wind blowing like a furnace.
