    Welcome to CS.

    That is prefectly normal for coffee so freshly roasted.

    Generally speaking, leave it to "rest" or "settle" for atleast another 3 days and it will by then have developed more like the kind of coffee "aroma" that you are looking for.

    The bonus alse being, that after your coffee has rested a few more days it will have developed a better flavour characteristic and wont be so woody on the palate (which it will be, while it still has the pop corn character).

    You will need to provide a bit more info. Who roasted it and how was it roasted. What beans and roughly the roast profile if you did it yourself.

    24 hours is probably a bit short for a resting period, depending on some of your above answers.
