Heatsnob probe waterproof?

Anyone know how far I can submerge the probe in water?

The very tip (ie first 2 cm) should be fine, just a bit concerned about immersing beyond that.

I don't really know but I do know that the square HeatSnob unit is NOT waterproof, was never meant to be but the probe should be fine.

Even if water does get inside there isn't anything that will corrode.
You can test it and let me know!

The other option is to buy a longer probe, we have 100mm ones in BeanBay.
